Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University (1973)
Master of Religious Education Theological Seminary (1978)

Charles began his ministry at GCCBA in 1990 after having served churches in Maryland, Florida, Arkansas, and North Carolina as minister of education, singles, pastor, and associate pastor. He and his wife Carolyn have two children, Chad and Carole. The Reeds are appointees of the North American Mission Board as Church and Community Ministry Associate Missionaries. They are members of Elizabeth Baptist Church.
