Mission Opportunities

MISSION TRIPS AVAILABLE:

The following mission trips are planned for this year. If you would like to participate in any of them, please contact Katie Harris:

July 3-11, 2009 to Madison, Wisconsin  During this week will be working with the Central Baptist Association. We will have the opportunity to do block parties, day camps, prayer walking, surveying, and some construction. We will be spending the night in Louisville Kentucky at Southern Seminary on the way to and on the way back from Madison. This trip is open to all ages. August 7-15, 2009 Jinotega, Nicaragua   On this trip we will be working with Shalom Baptist Church holding Vacation Bible School, working in the hospital, working with pastors in surrounding small villages, and leading several worship services. The slots for this trip are almost full so if you are interested please contact Katie as soon as possible.

BLOCK PARTY TRAILER

The Greater Cleveland County Baptist Association has an enclosed trailer that is made available for our churches to use for Block Parties, Day Camps, VBS, etc. This trailer is stocked with a popcorn machine, cotton candy machine, and snow cone machine. It also has tables, tents, and all supplies needed for these machines. Churches of the Greater Cleveland County Baptist Association are welcome to reserve the trailer for their use. The cost of the trailer is $50. This fee will include all of the supplies needed to use the machines.
